1.Information We Collect
1.1 When you register with the Loyalty Program, you will be required to provide the following information: your username, password, email address, name, date of birth, gender, address, postcode, city and country. In addition, you may choose to provide additional information including but not limited to your marital status, number of children, home telephone number, salary range and preferences.
1.2 We collect personal information from you primarily to provide you with efficient and customized service while using our services. This allows us to provide you with services and features that will most likely meet your needs, and to customize our service by making the user experience easier and faster.
1.3 We automatically track certain information about you based upon your use of the Site. This information is used to do internal research on users' demographics, interests, and behavior. Collecting this information allows us to better understand and serve our users. This information may include the uniform resource locator (URL) that you just came from, which URL you next go to, what browser you are using, and your Internet Protocol (IP) address.
1.4 Virgin Megastore does not give, rent or sell Members’ lists from the Loyalty Program to any third party, organization or individual other than to Virgin Megastore’s respective holding companies, subsidiaries, associates, partners, or related corporations to use, process, disclose, transfer or to deal with the Member’s database in whatever manner and for whatever purposes as shall deem fit without prior notice or for the purposes of disclosure under the law or any court order or other governmental or regulatory bodies requirement.
2. Our Use of Your Information
2.1 This privacy commitment demonstrates how Virgin Megastore will ensure the confidentiality and privacy of the information you entrust us with. Personal information are collected to:
- Process Member’s spend - including the issuance of rewards, vouchers and products
- Administer the Loyalty Card Program- including the management of Member accounts, to accurately record and update Points balances
- Communicate information and offers to Members
- Understand and analyze Member’s needs and preferences
- Develop, enhance, market and provide products and services to meet these needs
- Enable Members to participate in promotions and draws.
2.2 We collect personal information from you primarily to provide you with efficient and customized service while using our services. This allows us to provide you with services and features that will most likely meet your needs, and to customize our service by making the user experience easier and faster.
2.3 We may use your e-mail address, your mailing address, and/or phone number to contact you regarding new product offerings, and communications relevant to your use of the Site.
2.4 We use information we maintain about you together as well as your activities on the Site to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce the Terms and Conditions.

3. Our Disclosure of Your Information
3.1 You hereby acknowledge that we may be required to disclose information collected to various government agencies or competent regulatory authorities, and that we may otherwise be compelled to make such disclosure by law or by an order of Court. 3.2 Marketing and Promotional We do aggregate personally identifiable information and disclose such information in aggregate for marketing and promotional purposes. We do not however disclose information that could be used to personally identify you. As such, certain information. e.g. passwords, etc., are not disclosed at all.
3.3 Co-Branded Services We may from time to time, partner with a company to provide co-branded services. If you wish to use those services, we may provide some of your personally identifiable information to that other company. You can avoid these disclosures by choosing not to use those companies' services. We do not control the privacy practices of these other companies and you should evaluate their practices before using their services.

6. Surveys and Polls
6.1 Surveys ask for opinions on various issues and very often these surveys and polls are sponsored or associated with advertisers and partners. There are times we request demographic information (for example age, gender, postcode). Most information obtained through surveys and polls is aggregated and used internally or shared with advertisers and partners only in the aggregated form. In the event personal identifiable information is requested as part of the surveys or polls about any of the Loyalty Card Program members, such personal identifiable information is never provided to third parties without your consent. In these instances you may expressly choose to receive information from a sponsor/advertiser in which case your information is provided to that sponsor/advertiser only. Some survey answers may be added to your profile as so we can better provide you with content, ads and offers that are most appropriate for you.
7. Contests and Quizzes
7.1 We regularly operate contest, quizzes and giveaways in Loyalty Program. We will require information such as email address, first and last names, postal address in order to verify the entrant's identity. This information is shared with a third party when you choose to receive information from a third party contest's sponsor; and/or when the contest is hosted by the Loyalty Card Program but administered by a sponsor.
7.2 You should carefully review the rules and regulations of each contests, quizzes and giveaway which you enter as they may contain additional information about a sponsor's use of your personally identifiable information.
8. Information Collected by Limitless Card Through IP Address and Cookies
8.1 Your IP address is a number that is assigned by the ISP (Internet Service Provider) to your computer to identify its location. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our website and to administer our website. We also sometimes use IP addresses to communicate with members and possibly ban those members who are not complying with our Terms and Conditions.
9. Other Information Collectors
9.2 The Site may include links to other web sites (the "Linked Sites") such as to our partners and advertisers. Virgin Megastore will not share personally identifiable information about users with the operators of such Linked Sites, but may provide aggregate information regarding users to such operators. Virgin Megastore does not control the Linked Sites, and is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of the Linked Sites.
9.3 Virgin Megastore shall not in any way be liable or to you or to any third party for any loss or damage whatsoever and howsoever caused, which may arise in connection with the activities and privacy practices of the above mentioned third parties or operators of the Linked Sites, as well as the content of any third party sites, including the Linked Sites.
10.1 Virgin Megastore uses industry standard security enhanced systems in order to prevent third party access to your user information. Although we employ efforts to maintain the privacy of your user Information, we cannot guarantee that your user information will not be intercepted by a third party's illegal efforts to intercept it.
10.2 We also have put in place privacy protection control systems designed to ensure that your personal data remains safe and private. Each and every employee must abide by Virgin Megastore’s privacy and confidentiality policies. Only authorized employees are permitted to have access to your personal information and such access is limited by need. In addition, any company with which we contract to be our agent in conducting our business is required to adhere to confidentiality agreements to ensure that your information remains safe and secure.
